Hotel Local 101 - Reykjavik

The location was magnificent; it was in the center of the town. Easily reached The Steak House, located at a short distance from the hotel, had lunch/dinner there. The breakfast was outstanding, with hard-working staff and lots of food;))

Booked a room with an absolutely outstandingly comfortable bed. The location was marvellous, for example, a Lutheran parish church was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. The area was good close enough to the center of city as well as shopping areas.

The recommendations from the staff for local dining made for an enriching experience, and the daily tea and coffee availability in the lobby was a good touch.

We had a lovely stay with clean, fresh rooms and the unique touch of real candles on the tables.

Clean and comfy getaway

Just spent 3 nights as a couple. The room was super clean, and the bed was comfy. The staff were really nice and helped out whenever we needed. Breakfast was simple, but tasty! Only wish there were more breakfast options. It could get noisy at night due to nearby parties, a bit annoying.

The hotel offered a good location close to the center, which was a major plus. The breakfast variety was appreciated, although the rooms were quite small and the shower layout could have been better. I enjoyed the vibe and the helpful staff made a positive impact.

Hotel local 101 was great with its cute staff and fine location close to the city center. After staying in a hostel previously, this place was like a luxury getaway with excellent amenities.

Cozy room, charming lobby, the staff was very helpful in providing recommendations for local dining and facilitating our bus reservation. The location was conveniently close to the bus stop from Keflavik Airport.

My stay was pleasant, especially considering I had an early morning flight. The room exceeded my expectations and offered a great and very comfortable bed. I appreciated the breakfast, which had a nice selection to start my day right. The location was quiet, yet I was just a short walk away from many of the city's highlights. It was a great experience during my business trip.

The location of Local 101 is perfect, just a short walk to the center of Reykjavik. The staff are friendly. I enjoyed the comfortable bed, which helped after a long day of exploring. Showers had excellent water pressure. On the downside, the small double room felt cramped, especially with winter gear needing space for drying. I faced some inconvenience due to the lack of hot water at times and the breakfast service could definitely be faster. Having to wait for bread wasn't great, and the coffee was lukewarm. I liked the atmosphere but wished for better amenities to match it.
